Anarchism is a philosophy and a political movement born in the 19th century. It skeptically treats all the excuses of the authorities and claims for changing the states with the stateless societies and other forms of free associations. For the moment the timely Russian-speaking educational sources dedicated to anarchism do not exist.

Multimedia project ‘anarcho’ will tell about the starting of anarchism, about its history from the middle of the 19th century until current days, about the main ideas, formulas and goals of anarchism as well as dispel the myths describing anarchism as the political movement of destruction. The main body of the project is the web-portal containing various articles.

On the basis of the analysis made in the visual research I realized that anarchism has a great number of trends and sub-categories (e.g., anarcho-socialism, anarcho-syndicalism, anarcho-feminism). Thus, the portal telling about these trends is called ‘anarcho’. ‘Anarcho’ or simply ‘A’ is a prefix for other words or impressions representing anarchism as an important part of the society.
An arrow, one of the main stylistic elements symbolizes the horizontal connections between the different parts of anarchist society. Besides, parts of the style are the stereotyped graphics that is simultaneously the pictograms and accent elements. Such a technique of applicating the drawings is closely connected with the anarchist movement since the stereotypes allow to apply the information on any surface quickly and noticeably.
