On this planet, evolution has gone a different way. The mutation that resembles exostosis once touched all living creatures, but instead of disease it became a driving force for development. Bones have acquired exceptional density and strength, becoming natural armor and weapons.
That is how the people of Osteari, anthropomorphic creatures, became the foundation of culture, faith, and technology, not the inner pillar of the skeleton.

The main cities are built on lava fractures, which were created by the long-term terraformation of the planet under the influence of natural phenomena. Lava is one of the planet’s main resources, from which they derive energy, use it in production, and rely on it for many rituals.

Bones play an important role not only in culture, but also in other industries such as construction.
Thanks to the structure of the bones and the technology of the Osteari, they can build huge skyscrapers out of the bones. A compulsory building in all cities is a religious centre, which serves as a parliament for higher society and as a place of assistance for ordinary people of the type of church.
The planet is divided into several clans, and one of them is a guardian who prefers a nomadic way of life.
They tend to settle near water bodies or near large bone remains and build their homes with their own tools — bones, tissue, and skin.
In every village, as in the city, there is a main center, a tent of the chief shaman, where his family lives and the rituals take place.
The custodians did not accept the new technology and industrial revolution, so their primary means of transportation remained the sand ship.
It is a vehicle used for the carriage of large goods or large numbers of persons. Its skis are made of bone, which allows it to slide quickly and easily through hot sand, and the first sails are always adorned with ritual patterns of protection.
